Photoshop x portrait experiment

Back again with this image where I’ve played around with distorting and blurring my photo to create a scanned in effect. I’ve added some different colours using a gradient map.

I’m really enjoying this process of manipulating a photo and taking it in a different direction. It’s a fun way to keep photography fresh and to create something new.

I quite like the blurred text on this one too. I usually find it hard mixing type with an image but think this works and has a 90’s movie poster feel about it.

Looking forward to some more experiments and improving my typography game!
