Coffee Time

New Work alert!

This is a present for someone who loves coffee!

I have been experimenting with collage, shape and texture as a form of image making. I like the playfulness and looseness of this way of creating images. I want to develop this style further and be even bolder with the cut shapes, and overlapping pieces to create more vibrant and energetic work.

For the type I played around with a few different positions. I think the type being cut out works to keep it consistent with the rest of the image and at the same angle of the orange and yellow background to emphasise seeing the image in that direction. I think having the angle it works well with the pour of the coffee.
